2021 Mâcon-Pierreclos, 2ème Vendange de Chavigne, Domaine Guffens-HeynenGuffens produced the 2021 Mcon Pierreclos Deuxime Vendange de Chavigne from a second picking some three weeks later of second generation fruit that had attained full maturity, along with the very early stages of botrytis (when the berries turn rose coloured but before they begin to degrade and shrivel), known in Mconnais parlance as "levrout." This has turned out beautifully, picking up additional texture and depth with levage and revealing complex
